Stone Mountain - Do not try to make this hike mid-day when it's almost 100 degrees outside.. you might regret it. Note that the entire trail is rock and straight up hill. However, the view at the top is gorgeous.
// People & Places //
Riley - I love my dog so much.. she's my other half and I'm going to cry when I have to leave her in a week for college. I've raised her over the past 6 years since she was a pup and it breaks my heart to part ways.
// Food //
Going Coastal(1) lobster roll // (2) alligator meat // (3) key lime tarte - This is one my favorite food places ever.. you can't go wrong with Going Coastal or seafood.
local sushi joint

Sunrise - I don't play around when it comes to sunrise at the beach.. I was on the beach at 6am every morning during our stay to make sure I got to enjoy the sunrises in their entirety. Sunrise and sunset are the two most beautiful times of day that God created for us, and I'm going to enjoy them as much as I can.
pro packing tip - I packed my clothes in my Lilly cooler, and unpacked once I got to the beach to save space. Both coolers shown above are from Country Club Prep. Be sure to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for a 20% off discount code.
So, I leave for college on the 7th.. crazy right? School is going to keep me occupied for sure, but I am going to try my best to keep up with YouTube and blogging. I will do Life Lately posts every 1-2 weeks, just depending on what I'm feeling. I had a fabulous time at the beach, definitely one of my favorite trips of the Summer. Thanks for reading!
I haven't done a Saturday Shopping post in such a long time, but I'm finally getting back into fashion. I'm not exactly sure why, but sooo many stores are having crazy sales lately- assuming summer clear-out. Also, a pro tip on Free People: the prices vary according to retailers, so type the name of the item you're look for into Google to find the lowest price.
// Things I've Been Eyeing //
I recently became obsessed with Free People and Madewell- everything on those sites is so cute!! I've also been eyeing these chacos since they came out, but I did just purchase a new pair... // Sales //
// Free People //
Lord & Taylor
// Urban Outfitters //
// Recent Purchases //
I've shopped so many sales lately and gotten crazy deals- mostly in store, but I did try to link everything I purchased. I got Chacos at 40% off, Patagonia shorts at half off, $20 Steve Madden sandals online, $45 Free People Dress online, $20 Free People Denim Skirt online, $10 top for going-out online, $12 Free People Swing Tank online, $20 Free People Denim Shorts online, and a few more deals in-store at Free People + Madewell. I cleaned out so much of my closet recently and decided to get quite a few things for college this fall. I will be posting a back-to-school haul on my YouTube channel with these items at the beginning of August, so be on the lookout for that.
I definitely missed these posts- let me know what you think and other content you'd like to see on the blog.
Taylor and I decided that we wanted to take college photos a while ago and I am so pleased with how the photos turned out!! Shoutout to my brother, Cole, for being great and taking our photos (I doubt he reads this). Tay and I grew up together and she moved two hours away right before our freshman year but we've managed to see each other once a month since December and haven't gone two weeks apart this Summer, now that's dedication. The 240 miles between Georgia Southern and Auburn ain't got nothing on us.
I am so excited for the future and can't wait to see the plans God has for each of us!! I am so thankful that God has blessed me with such an amazing lifelong best friend that is there for me no matter what happens. If you don't have a best friend, I recommend you go find one, but good luck becuase I've got the best one out there.
We have made so many amazing memories the past eight years, so here's to four more! I originally created this post to give seniors inspiration for college photos with their friends, but I guess it turned into a rant on how grateful I am for Tay.
Leave a comment with the best memories you've had with your best friend. Also, if you just graduated, comment your college! Thanks for reading y'all.
I've always liked Free People, and I have a few pieces from them. However, I just realized how much I loved Free People when browsing through their site. Things I learned from browsing: 1) I like almost everything on that site 2) There is a lot of clothing, more than you would think.
They carry so many beautiful, well-made pieces.. Free People and Madewell are definitely tied for my two favorite stores at the moment. I have liked the boho, chic style for a long time, but I was trying to stay within the constraints of my old style. Thus, I did not realize how much I loved it! For a while, I got tired of fashion and it got boring, but the preppy style never really changes. This is great, but can also get old. I am finally letting my style evolve and I cannot wait to see where the blog will go this year!
Back on the subject of Free People, here's everything I'm loving on the site right now.. naturally, there's a lot.
// Tops //
// Dresses //
// Everything Else //
For the most part, I have gotten awesome feedback about my style evolving and rebranding my content! A lot of my viewers have also grown up and their styles have evolved with them. I haven't really dressed "preppy" for a while, really only on the blog to keep my followers content. Thus, I'm excited to really produce content I love.
I was inspired to write this post when I was in a Free People store the other day. I just really loved almost every item I saw, so I figured the web site would be awesome. I purchased two tops (1, 2) and a pair of shorts not available online. Leave a comment with your favorite stores below! Thanks to those who support my style evolving.
How cute are these Lilly dresses? Lucy and I are both big fans of this print, Summer Lemonade. It's an older print, but Lilly decided to bring it back in blue this Summer. I've only worn shifts from Lilly since I normally sway towards this brand for fancier events, but I am so glad that I decided to try out a Lilly tee shirt dress.
