DIY: Acai Bowls


Recently, I have gotten really into making acai smoothie bowls. The acai berry is filled with antioxidants and offers many health benefits. Each of these bowls require the use of frozen acai packets; I like to use Sambazon frozen acai packs. You can tweak these smoothie bowls and get creative. As to what you blend and top your bowls with is entirely up to you.


Blend // 2 frozen acai packs, 1/2 c coconut water, 1 banana

Toppings // granola, coconut, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas


Blend // 2 frozen acai packs, 1 banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 3/4 c milk, 1 tbsp chia seeds

Toppings // granola, coconut, strawberries, honey


Blend // 2 frozen acai packs, 1/2 c coconut water, handfuls of spinach, 1/2 c frozen mangoes, 1/2 c frozen pineapples

Toppings // strawberries, coconut, granola, chia seeds
