The World's BEST Waffles + Simple Outfit

I have fallen in love with the city of Savannah since I moved to Statesboro for school. I love everything about it and there's gorgeous architecture around every corner; hence the extra photos. I am so fortunate to only live 40 minutes away from such a beautiful city. Rush hour traffic is not enjoyable, but I chose to visit during less busy times of the week like Friday afternoon or a weekday. Parking isn't too bad if you find a parking garage.. nothing compared to Atlanta.

If you're new to my blog.. I am a brunch fanatic. Mirabelle Cafe has the best waffles I have ever tasted; they make the liege waffle.. which is a step up from Belgian waffles becuase they are baked with caramelized sugar. There are so many toppings from a wide assortment of fruits to powdered sugar, whip cream, and nutella or chocolate. I also rave about their coffee and sandwiches, seriously everything about this place is great. If you're visiting, Mirabelle also has an inn where you can stay.

On to my outfit, I like to keep things simple and go for a chic, laid-back look most days. Basics are key and distressed jeans give any outfit ann effortless feel. I recently got these black booties from Old Navy and am unsure how I feel about them yet, but I think I'm rocking them. If you don't have a Barbour coat, Daniel Wellington watch, or Alex & Ani bracelet, I 100% recommend you add all of them to your must-have wish list. These pieces may be expensive, but they really do last forever and are top-notch quality. For distressed jeans, I recommend American Eagle or Old Navy (cheaper route and same quality).
Thanks for reading! Let me know if you'd like to see a post on my favorites of Savannah.

xx,
Daria
