Wildflowers

wild·flow·er
ˈwīldˌflou(ə)r/
noun
  1. a flower of an uncultivated variety or a flower growing freely without human intervention

What would it look like to be a wildflower for Jesus, sharing the gospel freely & glorifying him without human intervention?

Think of a single wildflower, it's surrounded by millions of other wildflowers. The single wildflower is beautiful and joyous, lost in a sea of scents and vibrant color. Not a single human has ever seen this single wildflower- simply the entire sea of flowers. You may think that this single flower blends in with all the others of its kind. However, God handcrafted this single wildflower with grace and ambition; it's his masterpiece. Together, the sea of wildflowers creates a glorious picture to convey God's love and goodness to anyone who encounters his creation.

The same is true for you and me. Bloom where God has planted you, and live in a way that conveys Christ's love and goodness to every person you meet.

Luke 12:27-28 "Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!"

Matthew 6:30 "And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?"

Psalm 103:15 "The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field;"
